Marshfield Rotary members attended the grand opening of the Forward Fun Zone on August 18, 2026 to celebrate the success of this community project and the club's contribution. The park is a massive "destination playground" that stands proudly within Griese Park and is now the largest playground in the city of Marshfield, promoting health, wellness, and inclusion for all ages and abilities. Thanks to the tenacity of the 2005 MACCI Leadership Marshfield team—Abby Meyer, Bill Thomas, Connie Michalski, and Lindsey Safford—a fund was launched to bring this dream to life. The Marshfield Rotary Club and Rotary District 6250 are incredibly proud to have contributed funding to this beautiful community space, ensuring that Griese Park will continue to inspire play and promote having fun for generations to come.
